The story of Roy’s Nature Treats begins with a memory of the islands. Founder Roy Blake grew up with the authentic, robust kick of traditional Jamaican ginger beer—a brew defined by its real "bite" and complex, earthy flavors. Years later, living in the heart of New York City, Roy and his partner, Elfreda Blue, noticed a void in the market. The ginger beers found on most shelves were often underwhelming—either too sugary, lacking true ginger intensity, or weighed down by artificial essences and high-fructose corn syrup. They knew the sophisticated palate of the city deserved a beverage that could truly claim the crown. 


Driven by a quest to create the ultimate ginger experience, Roy and Elfreda spent years formulating and refining their recipe. They weren't just making a soda; they were crafting a premium reserve that honored Caribbean tradition while meeting the exacting standards of the modern New York mixologist and the health-conscious consumer. By using only pure cane sugar, real natural ginger extracts, and subtle fruity undertones, they created a beverage that is as revitalizing as it is bold—completely free from artificial preservatives and compromises.
